La grandissima Martha Graham per il Google doodle di oggi

Il doodle di oggi è imperdibile sia per il soggetto del tributo (anche su youtube), la mitica danzatrice Martha Graham, che per l'elegante dinamicità delle figure che, danzando, formano il logo Google.

Martha Graham (1894-1991), per molti la piu' grande danzatrice statunitense del XX secolo, madre della danza moderna, e' stata la sostenitrice del movimento come massima forma di espressione con le tipiche forme angolari che riusciva ad assumere col suo corpo minuto ma vibrante.

Nel 1926 ha fondato la Martha Graham Dance Company (sito della Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance), e nella sua compagnia hanno lavorato ballerini di primo piano della scena internazionale, da Bessie Schonberg a Anna Sokolow, da Yuriko a Merce Cunningham .
