Oggi Google omaggia Mary Blair (1911-1978) nel centenario della nascita. L'illustratrice statunitense è famosa per il suo stile che tutti ricordiamo nei lungometraggi d'animazione della Walt Disney come Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie, Cenerentola o Peter Pan, nati proprio da suoi concept. E' stata una delle artiste più rivoluzionarie degli anni 1950, soprattutto nell’ambito dell’animazione.
Una carriera ed un talento che sono stati riconosciuti, postumi, con il premio Disney Legend nel 1991.

Among the stylized denizens of the mosaic (designed by Disney artist Mary Blair) is a five-legged goat, located on the monorail side of the mosaic and best viewed from the 7th and 8th floors. |
